Who Owns a Nonprofit?
There are all different kinds of people who start nonprofit organizations, but they all have one thing in common: they have a a strong vision. They have this idea, and they can see so clearly how it will make a difference in their community. It takes that strong vision and a lot of drive for someone to take an idea and make it into a real, thriving nonprofit.
If it’s their idea and their hard work that made it a reality, certainly the nonprofit is their’s, right? (Not right.)
